Fly Free Like an Eagle: Blogging, Healing & Shared Journeys
Share

Point B:
When we began our blog, I looked forward to learn many things about you but I didn’t expect to find out so many things about myself. Once I started writing, the flood gates opened wide with my anger, my guilt, my shame and all of my other insecurities. I’ve never been one to journal but to me this was so much more. It was like we were writing letters to each other. Some of them made me cry, some made me laugh but they all had one thing in common. They reached into the memories of my heart. There were pieces that ached with sorrow. Each and every time a small piece of my heart began to heal. Some of my heart will never heal completely. But to my surprise at the end of one of my powerful writings, I felt this strong sensation go through my body like never before.
FLY FREE LIKE AN EAGLE

Point A:
I have never been one to keep a diary. I always want to and people say I should but never seemed to follow my beginnings through to the end. I don’t like writing so keeping a diary seemed scary.
When we started sending each other meme’s, then began making our own and eventually blogging, I thought maybe I had finally discovered my way of keeping a diary.
I now look back and reread all our blogs with such pride. I did it! I did it! It doesn’t matter to you whether it sounds professional, or whether it is popular but that we are telling each other how we feel.
This blog together will forever be one of my life’s greatest adventures. Somehow we really do get to our destination together, maybe not always at the same time, or in the same vehicle but we will always be on it with each other.
